Illan Wolff. The magic of photography

Using ancient techniques, turning boxes and objects into cameras, using different kinds of energy to create photographic images and combining chemical reactions with human sensitivity during the developing moment of the photographs, are the basic points of my photographic philosophy.

In those unfolding bodies there is neither pain or death. There is only representación: they are always there, in the same way, without descomposing, without disappearing . That is why the body transformed into an image soon becomes the receptacle that ist assigned the power of containing identity: the portrait makes the person present.
